Change Linkgarden's appearance

All of these live in the Appearance section of Settings.

Open Settings from the row at the bottom of the sidebar. On a Mac ⌘, opens it in its own window; on iPad the sidebar row opens it as a sheet.

Pick System, Light, or Dark. System follows the device setting.

The change applies immediately, to the window chrome as well as the content.

Click a swatch to choose one of eight preset colours, or use the colour well at the end of the row for anything else.

The accent tints the selection outline in the middle column, links and buttons in the detail area, and the sidebar’s selected-row highlight. It is the same palette used for folder and tag colours.

The default is the system blue, #007AFF.

On a Mac, the Safari extension popup picks up your accent colour too.

Turn this on for a translucent window that blurs whatever is behind it. Leave it off for the standard opaque window.

The toggle says so itself: “Takes effect the next time you open Linkgarden.” The switch flips straight away, but the window will not change until you quit and reopen the app.

On by default. Bookmarks fade and scale into place in a short cascade when you open a section.

Turn it off for an instant appearance. It is also skipped automatically when Reduce Motion is enabled in system accessibility settings.

On by default. Each bookmark’s icon tile — and the header of each grid card — is filled with a gradient mixed from its folder colour and its tag colours, so that bookmarks in the same place look alike at a glance.

Turn it off for a plain neutral header. Bookmarks with no folder and no tags look the same either way.

Appearance settings are stored on the device. They are not synced through iCloud — set them separately on your Mac and your iPad.
