Customise keyboard shortcuts
Five commands can be reassigned:

Reassign a shortcut
Section titled “Reassign a shortcut”- Open Settings (the row at the bottom of the sidebar, or ⌘,).
- Find the Keyboard Shortcuts section.
- Click the button showing the current combination. It changes to Press a key….
- Press the new combination.
The new shortcut takes effect immediately.
The rules
Section titled “The rules”- A shortcut must include at least ⌘, ⌃, or ⌥. Anything else is rejected with “Use at least ⌘, ⌃, or ⌥.”
- The key itself must be a letter, a digit, or a punctuation character. Function and arrow keys are not accepted.
- Two commands cannot share a combination. Trying it shows “That shortcut is already used by …” and leaves the existing assignment alone.
While recording
Section titled “While recording”| Key | Effect |

| Esc | Cancel — the shortcut is left as it was. |
| ⌫ with no modifiers | Restore this command’s default. |
Reset a shortcut
Section titled “Reset a shortcut”When a shortcut differs from its default, a Reset button appears next to it. Click it to go back.
Shortcuts you cannot change

The Sort By menu items have no shortcuts.
